After being in the video and Film business for over 30 years, and evolving from 2" Video tape to digitally capturing video, Sterling productions has evolved once again. Fifteen years ago we started acquiring footage on a Digital format and some people thought we were crazy and beta SP would never go away...well 15 years later we still shoot and edit on digital formats and even without tape.
With all the video that is available today we decided that someone needed to manage this video….so Sterling's Independent Media Management System or "SIMMS" was born. SIMMS allows us to take video/audio information and direct it to any television monitor throughout the world, and it allows us to edit, change or slightly modify what is being sent to each screen, both in linear or non-linear digital formats. This can be in the form of Entertainment, Information, Sales concepts, Advertising or any thing you can think of.
Granted this isn't a brand new invention, and video signage has been around for years.
